SOROPTIMIST [suh-rop-tuh-mist] noun. A global volunteer network of women in 132 countries and territories who work to improve the lives of women and girls
Soroptimist International of Dallas was chartered on May 20, 1944 and we are celebrating 100+ years of service!! Throughout the years we have remained a prominent service club in the DFW Metroplex and have worked in conjunction with various organizations who support our mission of improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. We would like to extend our appreciation to our partners, sponsors and volunteers because they are vital to the success of our club. We also thank our current and past members who have shared their time, talents and financial resources to enrich our community. On behalf of our club, we thank each of you who have been involved in our club for the past 100+ years and together we will continue to educate, empower and enable opportunities for women and girls in the DFW Metroplex and beyond.
